Yo, so I been bumping this dude on my ipod like non-stop since I download the mixtape. Obsession you might say, no just my new crack. This artist gives us something hip hop heads havent had before, proclaiming fame through originality. It seems as if we have heard many rappers do and say this. However what makes him different is the fact thay he raps about being, broke, his love/hate relationship with Cleveland and his stoner habits, by topping off and saying,"...they called me lame because my swag was different. "You disagree, well you should and this should give you a reason to check out the mixtape. CuDi is definitely bringing something different and might I say good to the table.

Nike Beijing Olympic Dunk Low Color Pack
Nike continues to present product specifically for the Beijing Olympics event. The latest we came across is this Dunk Low Color Pack. It consists of five Dunk Lows, all coming in a unicolor upper in red, green, yellow, blue and grey. They all feature the Olympic Octagon logo that Nike has been using for all Olympic themed product, on the tongue tag. Furthermore the Swoosh come in felt material.
The Nike Beijing Olympics Color Pack will be released at X-Girl retailers in Japan on the 8th of August, with the opening of the Olympics.
Just like with the recent Nike Air Force 1 pack for women, these Dunk Lows also feature the same color on mid-sole, sole and on the upper.

"Where the Wild Things Are" Lakai Series
These are 2 previews out of the 4 kicks that Lakai will drop in collaboration with "Where the Wild Things Are." This was my favorite book as a kid. I definitely have to cop these. Can we say back to school gear, or am I too old for back to school shopping?
The classic children’s book by Maurice Sendak “Where The Wild Things Are” is currently being adapting into a feature film by awarding winning film and skate video director Spike Jones. Since Spike is always wearing the Lakai MJ3’s, Lakai decided it would be fitting to make a shoe to tie into the film. Instead of doing just one shoe, Spike thought it would be cool to take it a step further and do something like the Wrench Pilot and Quiet Life Series’ Lakai has done in the past, and the result is a four models series consisting of the Telford, Mariano 2, Howard, and MJ3. The movie has been pushed to late 2009, however; the shoes will be available in stores mid-Summer 2008. Price range from $56 to $76 USD.

Jerry Lewis is a Gun toting Gangsta....

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Comedian Jerry Lewis was detained by police in Las Vegas late last week when airport screeners found an unloaded gun in his baggage, authorities said on Tuesday.
Lewis, 82, had a small .22-caliber handgun when he arrived at the security screening area on Friday at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, said Officer Ramon Denby, a spokesman for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The comedian was briefly detained and the gun was seized. Lewis was cited for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit, Denby said.
Lewis, half of a wildly successful comedic duo with singer Dean Martin in the 1950s, was traveling to Mount Pleasant, Michigan, to perform a one-man show, a source close to the comedian said.
A spokesman for Lewis, the star of the 1963 movie "The Nutty Professor" and the 1982 movie "The King of Comedy," could not immediately be reached for comment.
The weapon was registered to Lewis and he will need to attend a court hearing to get it back, Denby said.
Since 1966, Lewis has hosted an annual telethon to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Last year, the telethon raised $63.8 million.

As the festivities continue towards the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Hong Kong LEGO User Group, has created an amazing reproduction of a city representing the upcoming Olympic games, made entirely out of LEGO’s. Containing 300,00 LEGO bricks along with 4,500 mini figures, the city features a sports complex, swimming arena, and even residential housing. This extraordinary exhibit we be up until August 31th at the Grand Century Place in Hong Kong.

Born in the Bronx, the birthplace of hip-hop, Mickey Factz was exposed to music at an early age. As a child his father would rap to him, untill soon enough Factz would start reciting his own rhymes. Mickey watched music videos, studying the performances of his favorite artists. This combination led Factz, at the early age of 8, into a love affair with hip-hop that continues to thrive till this day.
As hip-hop has culturally evolved from it's original days, of the b-boys to that of the d-boys and so forth. Mickey Factz has been steadily crafting what he's coined as "Uber" music. When asked what "Uber" music is, he gestures at the sky and says, "undeniable global music...I don't care where in the world you are, you're rockin' to this shit." To Factz hip-hop music in it's truest essence is about being able to rock out on any track like the forefathers did and currently that lack there of in the genre is what's stagnating its growth. "The music my generation and younger are listening to has expanded beyond funk and soul, we're listening to rock, electronic, house and so forth. Obama is a Slave shirt...
When a 25-year-old Manhattan graduate student who was assaulted Tuesday night got dressed that morning, she probably didn’t anticipate that her T-shirt would provoke four teens into shoving her, pulling out her earphones and spitting in her face.

Then again, with a shirt sporting the slogan, “Obama is my slave,” it may have been wise to consider the possibility.
Now she’s suing the $69 shirt’s designer, Apollo Braun, for “all he’s got,” the designer claims.
But the Israeli-born Braun — born Doron Braunshtein — says what allegedly happened to his now-disgruntled customer isn’t his fault — and that his outrageous design reflects not his views but those of “ordinary WASPs.”
“For a lot of people, when they see Obama, they see a slave. People think America is not ready for a black president,” Braun told Metro from his five-year-old Orchard Street boutique.
Braun claims that after the customer — who did not return repeated calls from Metro — threatened to sue, he contacted his own lawyer, who assured him he was shielded by the
First Amendment from any legal action.
The ugly incident over the ugly shirt took place at 8:30 p.m. in Union Square, Braun told Metro, when four African-American female teenagers accosted the student, cursed at her for her shirt and pushed her. According to the designer, the student walked away, but the girls followed her, one pulling the earphones out of her ears, another spitting in her face.
This isn’t Braun’s first sartorial criticism of the Democratic presidential presumptive nominee. He has also sold shirts with slogans such as “Jews Against Obama,” “Obama = Hitler” and “Who Killed Obama?” — which he claims was so popular, he moved 1,200 pieces.
“I can’t stand Obama,” Braun says, adding that it’s not because the Illinois senator is black. “That’s the only thing I like about him. He opens the door for other minorities.”
“He reminds me of Adolf Hitler,” Braun explained, adding he does not like Obama because “he is a Muslim” — a thoroughly debunked myth.
