Bluewater Productions have recently announced, releasing a comic book to honor the superstar Michael Jackson. They will focus on his life at length and strive to highlight the contributions MJ made in music as an entertainer rather than the negative attritubes and speculations from the media.

VIBE IS OVER......
Vibe has reportedly shut down its publication.
On behalf the VIBE CONTENT staff (the best in this business), it is with great sadness, and with heads held high, that we leave the building today. We were assigning and editing a Michael Jackson tribute issue when we got the news. It's a tragic week in overall, but as the doors of VIBE Media Group close, on the eve of the magazine's sixteenth anniversary, it's a sad day for music, for hip hop in particular, and for the millions of readers and users who have loved and who continue to love the VIBE brand. We thank you, we have served you with joy, pride and excellence, and we will miss you.

Michael Jackson: the Reason why DREAMERS are made....
I have not really been able to place my feelings about the recent death of the King of Pop. In other words I have nothing creative to say or poetic sayings. What I do have are memories....
The first time I fell in love with MJ....
Before I heard this albumm, I was attached to the interview by Oprah in 93, my aunt had on VHS, this changed my life.....

I KNOW WHERE YOU WERE WHEN THE KING OF POP DIED
A day later....
I had to give myself time to recuperate.
Many people have this been posting "RIP" messages, posting videos, sending text messages, while playing old albums and dusting off vhs memories, not to mention being glued to anything MJ centered on tv, for at least the past 24 hours.
But only a few will really be sad in relation to a connection they had to the late Michael Joseph Jackson.
While a friend and I rode in cruise control down 70 toward Columbus it was the first I had heard about MJ's rumored death which was plastered on the infamous TMZ.com. As I search through my phone I rush to call my mother, turned away by endless rings, I attempted to call another friend of mine who said that MJ had been all over the radio, and he was in the hospital. Finally, after talking to my mother she kept me updated with news on MJ's health. Over the course of an hour going back in forth on the phone and all the major news stations (not excluding fox news) we are both devastated to finally hear that the man I always dreamed of becoming had passed.
During all the drama I had laid the seat back in the passenger side and looked out the window in a stillness, that added to the overcompensation of silence and utter disbelief lurking in the car.
In this instance the clouds began to shadow the sun and a cool breeze triumphed the humidity that had plagued us 55 miles prior to hearing this daunting news. My heart dropped and flashes of all the childhood memories triggered by the love of his music, his finesse and his artistic precedence trailed through my mind.
Once I arrived at my mother's house the rain was evident and soon so was the storm. Watching the result show for So You Think You Can Dance, was going to be even more difficult especially after the speech that Nigel Lythgoe made about Michael Jackson's influence on the dancing world, this nightmare was transformed into a celebratory reality.
For hours and nearly a day I have been watching non-stop footage of this musical icon as if he once shared an anecdote with me or if I seen him in concert.
All the music I have heard, the videos, and the research that I have done, will never amount to what Michael Jackson was and is to me.
Rest In Peace Michael Joseph Jackson, you will be greatly missed.

GOOD THINGS COMES IN 2AND3'S
I know I am late on the B-day tip, but.... um it's my BLOG!!!!
So, I thought I was gonna have some epiphany and what not and express being 23, however, all I feel is closer to the end of my MTV generation and at the end of the 18-24 option....
Yes, its true 23 is a sign of lesser significance. Often looked over and frowned upon, especially if your jobless, or living at home with your parents and with no ambition (thought this is not always included).
23 is the official age of adulthood if you haven't reached that plateau then its encouraged that you get there, and fast....
Personally, this is what scares the HELL out of me... I am a kid who pays, bills and have the bigger things I cannot handle added to my tab(credit).
23.... is just 23, not glamour attached, maybe that is the sad part...
It would be pessimistic if I said that is all going down hill from here, mainly because I am having the best fun of my life and there nothing wrong with that.
I am blessed... mostly... and I'm excited to live on the daily!!!!
