My Dream. Versus THE Reality...

It has been a year almost two since I have served as president for what was once my beloved organization Miami University  Gospel Singers. However, last night I had an interesting dream reminding me of the most negative aspects of being a leader in a religious organization.

In the dream because I was caught by a perspective student smoking or something else "cracked out." After being caught and feeling bad about this discovery, I was tried to defend  my honor and the integrity of MUGS against other organizations, who claim many things and do not live up to the hype. 

The reality is I was under a lot of unnecessary stress because of the standard of "religiousness" created in people's minds. The thing that people were so clueless about was/ is my level of anointing and relationship with Christ. Its just so sad because, as a human being, I am never forced to explain my walk to anyone. Just striving to deliver what He has given me. I am an empty vessel with a job. If the word talks about the fallen, because I am minister or in a position of leadership, I am not exempt.





This dream made me realize how much I have grown as a human being. I NO longer heed to other peoples expectations. I really thank God for all MUGS did for me. It was such a blessing and I've met some of the greatest people in the world.

It is so liberating to finally know, the truth about yourself, and how what God has for you is really for you. My life and truth.
